SOFT6008 Class 40

We used today's class as a lab.

I spent the week trying to think up new and interesting things for us to do in JavaScript and I concluded that we are done.

If students want to experiment with some of the more interesting things we did I am happy to help out. But everyone at CIT seems very tired these days, so I don't think we will do anything new in class. So all subsequent classes will be labs.

I strongly recommend that students get the assignment in before the spring break rather than waiting until the day of the deadline. The break is better used studying for exams.

SOFT6008 Class 39

SOFT6008 Class 37 & 38 Lab B

Students worked away on the assignments. I get the feeling that people are a bit tried of JavaScript. That is understandable. But if you work hard for the next week or so you can get it done and dusted and out of the way.

SOFT6008 Class 37 & 38 Lab A

There were only 7 students in class. 3 were working on Assignment 2 and 4 still working on Assignment 1.

SOFT6008 Class 36

We used a few minutes at the start of class to take up submissions for Assignment 1.

I explained how the late penalty is applied at CIT and asked that students who want to avail of the late option e-mail me to let me know. Any student who has not yet met the minimum requirements would probably get more marks for a late submission that works, than for an on-time one that doesn't work.

Students who may have accidentally handed up code that was not entirely their own may retract all or any parts of their submission by sending me an e-mail. This offer will have expired a few days time.

We looked at the canvas in HTML5.
